This blog started off as a combination of cycling articles and articles on my life as a freelance web developer, Daily Cycle was a carefully chosen name which referred to the daily routine or cycle of my life, as well as the development cycle, as well as, well cycling. Over time it became clear that my biggest readership came from the cycling community so it became more and more cycling orientated. So ever since Christmas 2008 I have been using a T-Mobile G1 (the Google phone). I have to say that I love it. As a developer I really wanted a full physical QWERTY keyboard rather than the software based one offered by the iPhone. Anyway I digress. The first thing I did when I got the phone was to look through the market place for any decent apps. To my amazement there was (and still is) an awesome app called CardioTrainer which can be used for cycling, running or really any outdoor activity that you want to log. [More]
